They’re ready to rock the Box office with their new film ‘Kambakkht Ishq’. The couple is all out to do as much promotion of the movie as possible. The movie would be hitting the theaters on July 3 but the lead pair, Akshay Kumar and Kareena Kapoor have left no stone unturned to make their film a hit.

The couple has taken technology as their track to promote the film. First they launched some mobile games and mobile unique services and now yesterday, they launched a unique pack of Kambakkht Ishq digital services. Not only this, Akshay Kumar performed his daredevil stunts live to entertain the crowd and simultaneously give them a hint about the thundering stunts that he has performed in the movie. On the other hand, the style icon Kareena Kapoor contributed her bit by advising the female community on beauty tips.

The couple also gave the crowd certain tips on the subject of ‘love’. However, the duo tried to avoid any questions related to the remixing of song ‘Om Mangalam’ for the music video. The film has until now witnesses 100% advance booking even before its release.

Here’s another turn in Shiney Ahuja’s court case where he has been denied bail by the court. In a local court of Mumbai, a serious turn in Shiney Ahuja’s case (where he has been accused of raping 18-year-old maid servant) came when the judge rejected his bail plea and instad ordered his judicial custody to be extended until July 16, 2009.

Today was the last day of judicial custody of this handsome Bollywood actor. So he was produced before the Andheri Metropolitan Magistrate Court court by the Mumbai police. The actor had earlier file a bail petition requesting the court to grant him fail for the sake of his unfinished projects and on the grounds of his clean past record and good family background.

The actor has been charged with section 376 under Indian Penal Code.

Shiney Ahuja appears to be unmoved by the DNA reports that put on a hallmark on his character that he is a rapist. The judicial custody of the actor will come to an end on July 2 after which the actor wishes to be immediately granted a bail. And guess what is the basis on which he seeks this bail so desperately?

The reason that he has stated in the bail plea is his ‘good family background’ and ‘no past criminal records’ and a long list of remaining Bollywood projects. The defence lawyer of Shiney Ahuja, Shrikant Shivade, put across the point to the magistrate that his client, Shiney, has had a clean record until the time he was arrested on being accused of rape charges and that he hails from a good army background.

Also the lawyer added that his custody can adversely affect the producers and directors of his unfinished Bollywood projects. The bail plea would now be heard in the court on July 3, 2009. However, the police sources are of the opinion that the handsome Bollywood actor won’t be granted this bail as the DNA reports have already confirmed that he raped his maid servant and that is in itself enough ground for the rejection of bail plea.

The veteran actor, Dilip Kumar has admirers all over the country including political honchos such as Sonia Gandhi. First, Sonia Gandhi called up the legendary actor Dilip Kumar and inquired about his well being and the recovery. Later on, she paid a personal visit to the recuperation actor in Lilavati Hospital, Mumbai, where he has been kept in Intensive Care Unit (ICU).

New York..a hit declared!

The film got released on Friday and is based on the story of three friends and how their respective lives get transformed after 9/11 terror attacks in New York. The film has a scintillating, top star caste including John Abraham, Katrina Kaif, Neil Nitin Mukesh and Irfan Khan.

The movie has been released worldwide on 900 screens and is continuously in demand. So many people are getting tickets in advance. The movie has received overwhelming response from movie fans in US, Britain and UAE respectively. The movie has taken a grand opening and acquired No. 3 position on Australian charts and No. 10 in Britain.

Film makers always succeed in finding meat for their films, no matter which case they draw inspiration from! It’s a celebration time for C-grade film-makers, who have got new source for drawing inspiration. It’s none other than Shiney Ahuja’s rape case. Recently, there was organized the inaugural shot of a film (of ‘C’ grade) with the title ‘Chamak - The Shyning’. No marks for guessing which case it is inspired from!

Even though the accused is in the jail and the judiciary has not yet passed its verdict on the case, these film-makers have got the story line. They are happy with the publicity that their under-production movie is fetching, without even spending a penny on advertising and marketing.

However, the director of the movie is not at all affected by the allegations of encashing a rape case even when the verdict is not out.  The director openly declares that any publicity is a good publicity for his low-budget project. The film has a completely unknown star cast including Divya (the victim maid servant in Shiney Ahuja’s case), Hiten Rajgour (playing Shiney in the case).

The 86-year-old Bollywood actor, Dilip Kumar, has been rushed to the hospital and diagnosed with malaria and dengue. The actor has now been admitted in Lilavati Hospital, Mumbai on June 28, 2009 and is now showing a speedy recovery.

As revealed by the doctors of the hospital, the actor would be there in the hospital for another 2 — 3 days. The reports confirm that the actor has positive signs of malaria and dengue. At the time when he was admitted in the hospital, he was suffering from very high fever and respiratory disorder. The doctors declared that the WBCs and platelet count of the actor has shown a gradual increase and that the BMC has found traces of dengue mosquito at his residence. This is the reason the doctors suspected the actor to be dually affected.

The actor is now on a soft diet and has not responded negative since the beginning of the treatment.

Bollywood is shocked but the news is confirmed now. The DNA tests conducted confirm the news that the star actor of Bollywood, Shiney Ahuja raped his maid servant. The actor was arrested on being accused of sexually assaulting his 18-year-old maid servant but now no more speculations as the reports have confirmed that the actor had sex with the maid.

The handsome actor was taken into police custody on June 15 and has been in judicial custody in Arthur Road jail situated in Mumbai. The DNA of Shiney Ahuja is same as the sperm found on the clothes of maid servant. The bed sheets and clothes were taken as the materials to be used for DNA tests. The interim physical examination of the maid servant had also confirmed that the maid had been sexually abused and that there were severe injuries on her private organs, which confirmed forced physical relations.

The blood and urine reports of the actor also unleashed the fact that he was not drunk or intoxicated in any form.

The King Khan of Bollywood is all set to receive his honorary doctorate from the University of Bedfordshire at London for his great contribution to the field of arts and culture. The award ceremony will be held on July 10 at the Hotel Courthouse, London. The Vice Chancellor Les bdon, CBE would be conferring this degree to the superstar of Bollywood.

Shahrukh soon to be Dr. Shahrukh Khan!

An NGO named Routes 2 Roots nominated Shahrukh Klhan for this honor as the actor has been actively contributing his bit to the field of arts and culture for years now. Shahrukh Khan besides being an actor also happens to be a film producer and a television host. This NGO is involved in bringing the people of southern Asia together through its efforts.

As per the Deputy Vice Chancellor of University of Bedfordshire Ashraf Jawaid, “We are absolutely delighted to confer this honorary doctorate on Shahrukh Khan. He has made an outstanding contribution to the arts, culture and media which is recognized around the world.”
