The world would halt to pay its last homage to the King of Pop. Thousands of Michael Jackson’s fans are expected to reach Los Angeles and mourn for him. Global media would also be there to cover the world’s biggest event (as expected) . Contrary to speculations, MJ’s family has announced that a private ceremony would take place on Tuesday, which would be followed by a big public memorial service at the Staples Center.

Thousands of MJ’s fans could get their free tickets to the memorial service until July 4, 2009. 8,750 lucky fans from a total of 1.6 million registrations have got the golden opportunity to witness the last glimpse of their pop icon and be a part of the funeral.
Many celebrities from all around the globe are also expected to arrive in Michael Jackson’s funeral and millions of people across the world would view the funeral on their televisions. Thousands of people are sulking these days as they are not table to accept the death of their music icon, who has kept them entertained for years. Pop queen Maddona also Paid her tribute to MJ and dedicated her performance to the pop icon she adored all her life.

The whole world is abuzz with the rumors of Michael Jackson’s funeral to be bigger than the funeral of any big honchos of the world. It is expected to be even bigger than that of Lady Diana’s funeral, which witnessed a crowd of 250,000 people in London’s Hyde Park. It was also watched by 2.5 billion people on the television across the world. This event had created a record in the television broadcast.

If the sources are to be believed, Michael Jackson’s funeral is expected to go even beyond the figures recorded in Princess Diana’s funeral. Millions of people from around the globe are expected to arrive in Los Angeles to mark their presence in the pop icon’s funeral and pay their last homage to this music maestro.
The funeral preparations are being taken care of by Jackson’s parents, Joe and Katherine and also his brothers & sisters.

The ‘King of Pop’ had died but not his great contribution to the music. Michael Jackson expired on June 26, 2009 in Los Angeles at UCLA Medical Center. He died of cardiac arrest at the age of 50. He suffered from dermatological cancer and was on serious medications for a long time.

Bollywood is shocked at the sudden demise of this pop icon. The great Bollywood singer, Sukhwinder Singh says, “Michael Jackson was an international icon and he was such an inspiration. I see him perhaps as the best performer that ever existed. One did not need to meet him to feel the loss. It is very sad to see that such a great and incredible superstar leave us so early. It’s such a great loss to the international music and there nobody who can fill this vacuum in coming years. Watching him or listening to him was invigorating for musician’s world over. Music lovers were waiting for his come back tours and they were all sold out concerts.”
Many Indipop singers also drew their inspiration from Michael Jackson including Hard Kaur according to whom, “There can be only one like him. There’s nobody before and after Michael Jackson .We salute him for his creations. He was the one who created original styles which reflected not only in his music but also his dance, clothes etc. We will miss him!!”
