Mumbai rains
The financial capital came to a standstill. No movement, no hustle bustle any longer! It was the third day when the life in Mumbai was still on a halt. The roads were water logged, traffic jams everywhere, rail traffic slow & flights delayed by hours.
In the last 24 hours, the rainfall recorded has been 240.1 mm as reported by the Meteorological Department, Mumbai. As a token of warning, fishermen have been warned not to go into the waters for the next 1 day as there is a potential danger of high tides, which can be detrimental.
As per the weather forecast, thundershowers in the city and suburbs have been predicted with strong dusty gusty winds.
